Jane Poulton
Jane studied Textiles and Fashion at
Manchester Polytechnic, specialising
in Embroidery, where she completed
both a B.A  and an M.A in Textiles. As
an established illustrator, textile
designer and lecturer Jane has already
developed an enviable reputation in
the design world. She is also well
known for her small embroideries and
paintings in mixed media.
Jane’s work is often figurative, featuring
garden creatures animals and birds.
Her work is included in both corporate
and several public collections including
The Victoria and Albert Museum.
Her paintings and embroideries have
been exhibited at venues such as:
The Contemporary Textile Gallery,
The Crafts Council Gallery, The South
Bank Centre, The Commonwealth
Institute, The Design Council London,
Mitsukoshi Department Store Japan,
and Savaria Museum Hungary.
